Tim Burtons Love free essay sample

Tim Burtons style can best be describe s dark and gothic. He uses contrast between dark and light colors, flashbacks and camera angle to create this style. One of the elements that contribute to Tim Burtons cinematic style is contrast between light and dark colors. A contrast between light and dark colors means when a director mixes the colors and interpret them. What I mean when mixes colors and interpret them is when black is white and white is black. We will write a custom essay sample on Tim Burtons Love or any similar topic specifically for you Do Not WasteYour Time HIRE WRITER Only 13.90 / page For example, in the films Corpse Bride, there is a scene where living are dark, what I mean by dark is there are unhappy and the dead are bright colors what I mean by this is the dead are happy, ancing, singing like there is no tomorrow. In this scene, the director uses the contrast between bright and dark colors in order to show the irony of colors, is opposite the black is white and white is black. Similarly, in the film Edward Scissorhands, the director uses this same technique to show the neighborhood in bright colors, while Edwards house is dark and dim. In this scene, the contrast color technique is used to create an atmosphere of suspense by making Edwards Mansion dark and scary you can imagined the audience asking dont go in there something bad is going to be in there. This helps define Burtons contrast colors style because is the opposite, the monsters physical appearance are dark but in the inside there are emotional, while the bright people physical appearance are bright but in the inside they are the dark monsters. Furthermore, one other of the elements that contribute to Tim Burtons cinematic style is flashbacks. A flashback is when a scene is being cut or dissolved to action that happened is the past. For example, in the film Edward Scissorhands, there is a scene where Edward has flashbacks of his creator, in the flashback the audience earns that Edwards creator used to read him books and that was the last memory when Edward was going to get his pair of plastic hands but the creator dies. In this scene, the director uses flashback in order to show why Edward has scissors instead of hands or why he was up all alone in the house. Similarly, in the film Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, the director uses uses the same technique in the scene where Willy Wonka has flashbacks when his dad and himself had big arguments by this I mean Willys dad was a doctor and didnt let him eat any piece of candy . In this cene, the flashbacks technique is used for the viewers to understand what happened in the past. Lastly, one other element that contributes to Tim Burtons cinematic style is eye level. Eye level means where a snot is taken trom a normal height, that is the characters eye level. For example , in the film Edward Scissorhands, Edward is looking at Kim photo from prom and you can see that Edward has started to have feelings for her, having a connection. In this scene, the director uses the eye level in order to show the scene from Edwards perspective. Similarly, in the film Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the director uses this same technique in the scene where Charlies Grandpa goes to sleep, we can see him starting to shut his eyes and little Charlie leaving the room out the door. In Conclusion, Tim Burton is one of the greatest directors. He uses contrast between light and dark colors, flashbacks and eye level as a cinematic techniques. I learned a lot about Tim Burton and his skills. For example, one of the movie that Tim Burton directed that you should watch is Edward Scissorhands because you yourself will notice all the skills he uses in this movie hope you enjoy it.

It will help to induce customers to use the products and services of the company as an online marketing platform. The company should also promote the products by taking into consideration promotion strategies like public relation and direct marketing at the time of special days like festivals. The products should also be offered by sponsoring of events so that the customers can be aware of the products and services. Distribution Strategies The company should focus on diversification of the products so that customers can feel good and comfortable to purchase the products. To survive in the competitive environment it is essential to focus on the pricing and distribution strategies so that the customer's satisfaction can be enhanced.
